Family Adventure At Its Best! No Experience Necessary for the Best Whitewater NH has to Offer!
Raft NH is a white water rafting outfitter specializing in family adventure from float trips to Class III whitewater! They supply all technical and
safety equipment. They have the most experienced, licensed,
professional whitewater guide in the North Country on every white water trip. It's all brand new and state of
the art. Inflatable Kayaks (Duckies), whitewater rafts
that seat seven and our custom built Rolling dogsleds are all state of the art, allowing them to focus on fun and safety.They are located in the heart of the White Mountains, minutes from Santa's Village and about 45 minutes from North Conway.
The option "Paws and Paddles" is for our guests that want to pack in as much adventure into one day as humanly possible, they offer as well whitewater rafting in the morning - afternoon & their signature "Rolling Dog Sled Adventure" after your rafting trip.
MIDWEEK ERROL RAPID TRIP CLASS II (Monday through Friday until July 1 - Monday through Thursday after July 1) Ages 6 and up - No experience necessary - This full day, fully guided trip offers plenty of family excitement on a Class II rapid. The Errol Dam ensures a continuous flow of fun 24/7 with fluffy waves plenty big enough to splash over the bow of the boat, and get you soaked. Want to give guiding the boat a try??? This is the perfect rapid for it! All you have to do is ask your guide. The eddy at the bottom of the rapid is the ideal
place for jumping out of the boat to go for a swim, raft wheelies, and general laid back horse play in the beautiful river. This adventure starts in Gorham at 9 am. You will take at least 3 trips down the white water using duckies as you get more comfortable. If time permits when the river trips are over, and if you are game for it, Raft NH can take a short drive 10 minutes north to try and spot a moose. No guarantees, but they almost always see one! Water, lemonade or iced tea with a hearty snack will be supplied on the river with a healthy and delicious lunch from one of the local eateries when they return to base at approximately 3PM. Please be advised that this is a "Rain or Shine" activity.
WEEKEND PONTOOK DAM TRIP CLASS III (Friday through Sunday) The Pontook Dam Trip is a family friendly whitewater rafting adventure (participant must be at least 6 year old) that goes along an absolutely gorgeous stretch of river and takes you down Class II & III whitewater that can get a bit technical depending on water
level. Along this trip you'll play in the pour overs, try to catch some raft surfs, and nail a bunch of 2-3 foot breaking waves getting everyone in the boat soaked and leaving you
exhilarated on a hot day. On the way down the river you'll see an active eagle's nest and osprey sightings are common. Don't be surprised if you see the occasional bear, moose,
or deer along the riverbank! This is a half day trip meeting in Gorham, NH at 10 AM and Midday. You will take two trips down the whitewater and return to base. Light refreshments are served riverside and upon returning you will enjoy a hearty BBQ. This rafting experience is offered on Saturday and Sunday (and all Fridays in July & August). Please be advised that this is a "Rain or Shine" activity.
MAGALLOWAY RIVER CLASS III+ (Selected Saturday & Sunday this summer - see dates below) This exciting river is just over the NH border in Wildson Mills, Maine. If you've been out on the Pontook Dam Trip, this is your next adventure! Or, if the family friendly Pontook Dam trip seems too tame for your first time, try this trip! It starts by meeting in Gorham, NH at 8:30 am. Raft NH will transport you from Gorham to the put in. Enjoy 2 runs of this solid Class III trip that is jam packed with huge waves, surf holes, and lengthy Class III Rapids that will test your skills. Participants must be at least 12 year old on this trip. Light refreshments are served riverside and upon returning to base, you will enjoy a BBQ. Please be advised that this is a "Rain or Shine" activity. RAPID RIVER CLASS IV (Selected Saturday & Sunday this summer - see dates below) The Rapid River is a legendary adventure among paddlers; as the closest solid Class IV River from Boston, this trip fills up fast! The trip starts at Gorham, NH, and RaftNh will transport you through the deep woods to this adrenaline packed adventure. It starts out with a gorgeous 30 mn/1.5 mile paddle across "Pond in the River" where guides will teach you how to paddle the raft. From there, it's downhill : Rapid after rapid with successively increasing intensity for 4 miles is what gives this river its legendary status. Holes the size of SUV's and towering waves will have you asking when you can go again! Finish off the river trip with a relaxing raft tow across the pristine Umbagog Lake. Lay back, take in the blue skies and share tales from the river. Light snacks are served riverside and a delicious BBQ awaits you upon returning to base. Participants must be at least 14 year old and above average physical condition is highly recommended. There are very few evacuation points, once you start you are committed to the entire journey!. ROLLING DOG SLED RIDE & DEMO
Enjoy incredible views of the Presidential Mountain Range and experience dog sledding (without the snow or cold). Guests learn about the history and sport of dogsledding in NH. This experience is designed to be hands on to your own comfort level. Participants are given the opportunity to meet and greet the dogs, help harness and hitch the team and even help drive (at musher discretion for dog and guest safety of course!). During this experience, you will enjoy a short 1-3 mile dogsled ride in a specially engineered rigs designed for comfort and safety. A musher will drive from the back just like in a traditional sled and guests will sit in the rolling dogsled. Be prepared when making your reservation to provide the age and weight of those participating (this is to determine the size of the team needed for dog and guest safety).

Raft NH cancellation policy: - If RaftNH cancels a trip for any reason, your deposit will be immediately refunded. If you cancel your trip,
RaftNH will retain your 50% non-refundable deposit.
